Join the only statewide Asian Pacific Islander coalition in Pennsylvania

We are proud and thrilled to present the API Platform for PA and set a historic standard for how our communities should be approached and how our collective power should be regarded. We are not merely votes but voices; not merely constituents but concerned community members.

About the Caucus

The AAPI PA Power Caucus (Asian American and Pacific Islander Pennsylvania Power Caucus) is the first and only statewide Asian American and Pacific Islander coalition in Pennsylvania. Formed in 2019 as a c3 table comprised of 16 AAPI nonprofits representing Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, South Asian, Muslim, Filipino, and LGBTQ+ organizations, we have since been building our collective power and developing our API Platform for PA.

The API Platform for Pennsylvania

After conducting more than 1,500 community conversations in more than 15 languages across our communities in Pennsylvania, we formed a platform representing the perspectives, values, and needs of our diverse Asian Pacific Islander communities in the commonwealth. The API Platform for PA is the first-ever statewide, grassroots issue platform of its kind, one that aims to reflect the issues most affecting our communities. The AAPI PA Power Caucus brings together local AAPI communities in Pennsylvania, supporting and resourcing grassroots leaders working on the ground through collective visioning, training and capacity building, and coordinated action to build long term political and electoral power.

  • Voter Guide

This Voter Guide was created by and for the communities we work alongside. We’ve been thoughtful and community-centered when creating this Voter Guide, with more than 16 AAPI nonprofit organizations in our coalition.
